We established the business in 1998 trading under the internationally recognised name of AS Fire and Rescue Equipment and established ourselves in the Australian market by first introducing a range of UK manufactured Fire/Rescue rated ladders and ladder gantries. Several years later we started to manufacture ‘Century 2000’ Roller Shutters for supply into Australian Fire Services. We have since grown into supplying this and our other specialty products throughout Australia and New Zealand. This growth enabled us in late 2007 to purchase a new factory office complex and lease the adjacent factory in Cameron Park near the City of Newcastle in NSW, plus increase the size of our team, equipment and products to better service the requirements of our customers. We underwent a name change in February of 2008 to Centurion Fire and Rescue Equipment Pty Ltd to establish our own identity in the market and renamed our Roller Shutters Centurion 2000 as this product remains the foundation of our manufacturing business. The success of our Centurion 2000 Roller Shutters has enabled us to further expand our specialty product range to include the Australasian Agency for PAC Equipment Stowage Brackets. In July of 2009 our new range of ‘ARION’ Fire Rescue Ladders were released and March 2010 saw the release of the first of our Rapid Stow Ladder Gantry range.
